Welcome to Achill Island Golf Club
Achill Golf Club invites you to visit, and sample our unique links, situated between the Minaun Cliffs and Keel Beach, with it's beautiful, ever changing scenery, and savour our invigorating Achill air while enjoying the experience of a round of golf on one of the most Westerly courses in Ireland.
Over 100 golfers took part in the Club AmAm over 2 glorious days and produced intense competition with only 3 points separating the first 4 places. The winning team of Maxi & Josie McManamon and Dick & Phil Harnett were remarkable not only for their winning score of 101 points to win a fantastic outing to Carton House, but also for netting 2nd prize of 4 Mayo jerseys signed by the Mayo squad. They generously returned 2nd prize to the prize fund.
An all ladies team of Julie Hassett, Karen Lyons, Kathleen Conway and Ann Kane captured 3rd prize of 4 x 10 visit passes to the Mulranny Park Hotel Leisure Complex, while the 4th prize of lined jumpers was won by Leo Smith,Michael Scanlon, Seamus Murray & Mark English.
A great 2 days golfing was rounded off by a convivial presentation in the club house. (for Photos click here)
